Hunting permits for the 2026-27 hunting season will be issued to our employees and active members of the Harford Fire Department. No further permits will be issued.
Last year's permitted hunters will have until September 15, 2026 to remove any equipment left on CDREC property.
Deer Hunting Permits Limited
Due to new management transitions at the Cornell Dairy Research and Education Center, deer hunting access will be limited for the 2026-2027 season.
As Dutch Road Management LLC transitions into its role as the facility’s operating entity, additional time is needed to review property access practices, safety considerations, and land and wildlife management needs before issuing additional permits.
We appreciate the many hunters who have participated responsibly in the program over the years. Information regarding future hunting opportunities at the Cornell Dairy Research and Education Center will be communicated at a later date.
